The rules of the index.

StudioIndex provides monthly-refreshed UK fitness-market competitive intelligence: pricing, offers, advertising signals and other business data about fitness studios, gyms and related businesses, sold as a subscription report and dashboard.

The data is provided “as is”. It is gathered on a monthly pull cadence from public sources — studio websites, booking platforms, public listings and the Meta Ad Library — and every figure is a timestamped estimate as of the date it was captured, not a live or guaranteed-accurate value. We take reasonable care in collecting it but we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. You're responsible for the business decisions you make using it.

StudioIndex is an independent third-party research product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any studio, gym, brand, booking platform (including Mindbody and Glofox) or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Accounts use passwordless, magic-link sign-in tied to your email address. Keep that email accurate and secure — anyone with access to it can access your account. You're responsible for activity under your account.

• The Studio plan is £49/month, billed via Stripe, plus VAT where applicable.
• Subscriptions auto-renew each billing period until cancelled.
• Cancel any time through the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and you keep access until then.
• We don't offer partial refunds for unused time within a period, except where required by law.
• If a payment fails, we'll retry and give you a 7-day grace period before suspending access. Update your card in the billing portal to avoid interruption.
• Agency-tier pricing and terms are agreed separately and may vary from the above.

You may use the data and reports for your own internal business purposes. You must not:

• Resell, redistribute or sublicense the data feed, reports or dashboard access to a third party.
• Scrape, crawl or programmatically extract data from the service outside of any API we explicitly provide to you.
• Share a single account across multiple businesses — one account per subscription, one territory per Studio plan.

Agencies that need to serve multiple clients from one login should talk to us about an agency-tier agreement rather than sharing a Studio account.

The dataset, diffs, reports and dashboard are StudioIndex's property. Subscribing gives you a licence to use them for your own internal business use for as long as your subscription is active — it doesn't transfer ownership or grant rights to redistribute.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited by law (for example, for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of your use of the service is capped at the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for business decisions made on the basis of the data — the data is a set of estimates and signals to inform your judgement, not a substitute for it.

You can cancel at any time through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms (including the acceptable-use rules above), non-payment beyond the grace period, or where we discontinue the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice where practical.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
